You mean your husband didn't buy 10 grocery bags full of Peeps after Easter?  Oh, well, mine did.

Thanks Jilly Bean!!

Mason wore his Bronco's outfit for the first time today!  We decided that we should try to take a picture on my phone to send to Jill and say thanks.....  These are the reults of our photo shoot:

So there you have it.  We will try again next time.  But until then......

No news is... no news?

No news here, pretty much the same old, same old.... hanging out with Mason, trying to get ready to go back to work.  I don't know if I will ever be ready though, seems like it has gone so fast!  But next Friday, i will be back at UoP...... *sigh*

I am having a harder time with going back to work than I thought I would.  Especially because Mason is SUCH a mama's boy.  It probably drives everyone around me nuts, but I kind of love it... I even love it at 4 a.m.  I just love him.  I love that God lets me be his mom, such a sweet boy, such a big job.... I just hope that he knows that I want to be with him.  It will break my heart to leave him, I literally get nauseated thinking about it.  :(

Enough with the debbie downer.....  On the up side, Matt was promoted to branch manager this week!  He is so excited, and we are so proud of him.  He definitely put in a lot of hard work and deserves it.

So, no news, but here are some pictures:

He is getting SO smiley!!!

looove his stripe socks

napping on the couch... Lily sits and stares at him the whole time, I think she is guarding him

i could spend hours with him like this.  love the cuddles.

Cool Dude

mason had his 8 week check up on Tuesday... Still having a hard time believing he is that old!  Here are his 8 week old stats:

Length- 23.75 inches (75th percentile)
Weight-  12 lbs 4 oz (64th percentile)
Head Circumference 14.5 in (51st percentile)

Such a big boy!  Growing real fast :)

He also had to get his first set of vaccinations...  Worst moment we've had so far.  It is not fun watching your baby in pain.  No fun at all.  But, it is all for good, and Mason came out of it just fine....

I found a new website, and I am excited to try out some of the fun...  It's called Bakerella, so many cute ideas!  Can't wait to try one out for my friend Sander's baby shower!!

8 weeks

*sigh*
You turned 8 weeks old yesterday buddy.  I can't believe it... it really makes my head spin, and if I'm not careful, I start thinking about when you turn one, and the when you go to kindergarten, and then highschool, and college, and....  I could make myself go crazy with thinking like that.

I love you so much.  You have turned me into a total mush ball.  I look at you and I just can't imagine anywhere else that I would rather be.  You have made me aware of places in my heart that I didn't know existed.

It has been so fun starting to get to know you.  Your little personality is already shining through.  You are certainly a very particular baby, you know how you want to be held, and who you want to be held by.  Luckily, it is most often me, which is hard on everyone else, but warms my heart.  You are so strong, you have been a mover since the beginning.  Even when you were in my tummy you moved around constantly.  You are holding your head up so well, you only fuss a little during tummy time.  You are getting more and more smiley everyday.  I think you know those smiles are a hot comodity, you make us work for them.  But there is nothing we wouldn't do to get them!  Your dimples can make any bad day better.

Your dad loves you so much, his "Little Dude".  It has been neat watching him change into a father, and he is such a good one.

You are so precious to us, our little 8 week old baby boy.  Right now you are sitting in your daddy's arms being rocked to sleep, such a sweet baby.  My two boys.  My favorites.

I love you baby Mason
