mason's height and weight percentiles.... we had mason's 4 month well-baby check up appointment, and dr. fran confirmed our suspicions, we have a loooong skinny baby. he was just a tiny bit concerned with mason's weight, and asked that we consider starting him on solids. so, we tried them, and apparently mason had ben waiting for them! there was a gag here and a shudder there, but once he got the hang of the teture of food, holy buckets! we can't shovel into him fast enough. truly. we can't. he screams.
so, we go in to get re-weighed and measured on the 22nd.... hopefully this fat man is now actually fat. the next food? advocado. if that doesn't work, i don't know what will.
i made the mistake of trying one of mason's jars of baby food. GROSS. i felt awful for the poor kid. so for the past week, i have been steaming, pureeing and freezing fresh veggies for my little man. if i may say so, my baby food taste pretty good! move over gerber! and i can mix the combos however i would like, which makes things a little more fun, i like to think.
mason has settled in very nicely to his new home and new room. and i am beginning to remember what it feels like to sleep through the night. a-mazing. pictures of the house soon, i promise jill!
